Aufgaben
  • Responsibility for the Global product portfolio in terms of technology, price and cost across the whole product life cycle
  • Definition of an overall global customer product strategy (base products) in close alignment with Global Key Account Management
  • Driving of the product portfolio optimization and performing of market and competitor analysis
  • Monitoring of Purchasing and Supplier strategy in line with Product Road Map and Profitability
  • Consolidating inputs from regions regarding market shares, competitor landscape
  • Management and consolidating of input from Global and Regional regarding fit between product portfolio and market requirements
  • Definition, initiation and conduction of follow-up of global development projects for new products or product platforms
  • Leading and guding a team in the product group

Profil
  • University degree in the field of industrial engineering, technical business administration or engineering controlling
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of systems in the automotive industry
  • Experience in the leadership of employees is advantageous
  • Strong competence in customer service, negotiation techniques as well as project and conflict management
  • Fluent knowledge of English required, advanced German is advantageous
  • Systematic and goal-oriented approach coupled with dynamism and commitment
  • Ability to think abstractly and to prioritize and act in a self-directed manner
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills cultural sensitivity to support cooperation between different departments and regions
