Operational Purchasing Project Leader (m/f/d)

Aufgaben
  • Core team member in new development projects
  • Responsible of samples procurement during the different development phases
  • Initiate and drive the supplier selection process for the serial production
  • Ensure supplier readiness and a smooth SOP by consistent project management (APQP)
  • Ensure overall business case target achievement (material direct costs, tooling costs), monitor projects KPI and report to project management
  • Ensure the achievement of the product group Transmission KPIs (yearly savings, tooling costs, dual sourcing etc.)
  • Support cost savings activities: benchmark analysis, product-clinics and Value Analysis / Value Engineering workshops with suppliers
  • Coordinate with category (commodity) purchasing the identification and development of sourcing opportunities in line with product strategy and requirements
  • Lead resourcing projects (supplier change)
  • Facilitate idea and best practice sharing within the product group across regions, for example VAVE project, resourcing, change management

Profil
  • University degree with engineering, business administration or equivalent background
  • First experience in purchasing or project management
  • Technical background and automotive experience are advantageous
  • Fluent knowledge of English required, advanced German is advantageous
  • Flexible for short business trips to suppliers and production sites
  • Self-confident, pro-active and team player
  • Good communication skills and cultural sensitivity to support cooperation between different departments and regions
