Location: Bautzen, Dresden


As Head of Global Shared Services, you will assume leadership and management responsibility for the Team Leads assigned to him or her and report directly to the Global Service Owner. In combination with a team leader position, you will also take on the management responsibility of a larger team.

Head of Global Shared Service Germany is accountable and responsible for:

Driving organizational changes and transitions in his or her area of responsibility while acting as a change agent

Holding P&L responsibility regarding costs and cost release via utilization of employees of the assigned reporting line

Developing strategies for continuous improvement for her or his reporting line

Proactively supporting Service Owner, Global Service Area Managers and Business Development in the area of service innovation

Collaboration with other Delivery Area Leads within the country to leverage synergies regarding people development, investments, service development

Decision on and evaluation of sourcing strategies (make or buy; Demand, On- Offboarding, Governance), especially in peak or shortage situations as well as supplier management

Team building and leadership development of team leads and team members in his or her area of responsibility

Responsibility for the successful delivery of the service in terms of quality, customer satisfaction and economic success

Delegation, coordination and constant monitoring of responsibilities and activities within the business unit


■ University degree - preferably in the field of IT - or a comparable qualification or work experience

5+ years of professional experience in the area of SAP operations and optimization in shift operations with global collaboration as a plus

■ 5+ years of leadership & management experience with people focus and manager leads manager experience

■ Experience in taking P&L responsibility

■ Experience in an international environment and/or within matrix structures

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Effective communication skills as well as negotiation and de-escalation skills

■ Experience in pre-sales & in the management of key performance indicators

Strategic mindset and entrepreneurial thinking and acting

■ Business fluent in written and spoken German and English

■ Medium willingness to travel
